PetriTag®, a paper-based label for detecting bacterial contamination in fresh food, is among the finalists in the 4th edition of the PNI. The awards ceremony will be held on July 9 at NOVA SBE, in Carcavelos, Lisbon.

The first socioeconomic impact study of Collaborative Laboratories in Portugal, promoted by the Forum of Collaborative Laboratories (FCoLAB) in partnership with Porto Business School, concludes that each euro of public funding to CoLABs was associated with €2.27 of Gross Value Added in the economy. AlmaScience is cited among the examples of CoLABs that translate science into R&D roadmaps for companies.
